This review is from: Pure Krav Maga - Self Defense Mastery (DVD)
This Krav Maga DVD gave me a new insight on the true meaning of self-defense. Unlike learning a martial art, it does not require an individual to spend years training and honing the techniques before it can be used in a real life situation.

Most people join martial art to learn self-defense, however how many really achieve that? With the rules involved in most martial arts, they end up restricting themselves to the rule and it can be deadly in a street fight.

The techniques taught by Mr Boaz are easy to understand and execute even for civilians who have no prior experience in martial arts.

Krav Maga is down to earth where all the techniques focus on eliminating threats with no flashy moves involved, efficiency is the key word whereby no energy is wasted.

It is catered to individual who wants to be able to defend themselves on the street against multiple opponents, it teaches us to use everything to your advantage to change the odds in your favor, be it a weapon found lying on the floor or even the environment.

Mr Boaz's instruction is clear cut and I had no trouble understanding his explanation. This DVD is a must buy for anyone who wishes to protect themselves additionally I highly recommend those whom purchased this DVD to also purchase the book `Krav Maga - Use of the Human Body as a Weapon Philosophy and Application of Hand to Hand Fighting Training System' by Mr Aviram for in-depth understanding.

Zen Martial Arts & Fitness is proud to conduct Pure Krav Maga in their Martrial Art Center. We had conducted first Zen Pure Krav Maga course and all the particpate love it and we had this review from one of the participate in the Zen Krav Maga course. hope to see Mr Boaz soon in our Zen sch.

I went for the PKM bootcamp to understand more about krav maga as I was influenced by civilian Krav Maga and had difficulties differentiating them.

After attending the Boot Camp organised by Zen, I learnt that principles like distance and instinctive defense were not covered by Civilian Krav Maga.

I would like to thank the instructors Brian, Bob, Calvin and Benjamin for their patience in teaching us and also organising this bootcamp to help me understand the principles and techniques in Master Boaz's book better. It was nice to see a handful of Martial Arts Enthusiasts at the boot camp and I hope we will master PKM under the guidance of the instructors. Looking forward to the classes :)
