Civilian Krav Maga diluted this curriculum spreading it over 5 years Judo Belt Model extracting the lethal elements.

The chronological possibilities of Civilian Students and lineage and past and future fake lineage and knowledge claimants...

The Civilian Association claims Eli Avikzar retired from the IDF in 1987. That is not true. Eli Avikzar retired from his military career in 1981! Boaz Aviram replaced him as chief IDF Combat Fit Academy Krav Maga Instructor! It could be claimed as an editing error as they say that in 1987 he retired from the Krav Maga Association as well!

ELI AVIKZAR: born June 6th, 1947 Died May 16, 2004 at the age of 57 after battling cancer for few years...In 1976 Eli Avikzar at the age of 29 years old joined the permanent force, as Head of the Krav Maga section. He quit the IDF in 1981! Total of 7 Years in the IDF as Chief Instructor of the Krav Maga Department! If he did a 3 year mandatory service from 1965 to 1967 from age 18 to 21, took a break for 9 years and joined the permanent forces after. That scenario does not make much sense. Its possible also that he joined the IDF at age 26 which is 9 years above the mandatory drafting age. The IDF had some requirement for Military ranking for a permanent position, but they could have been bypassed.

What important is that he was recommended by Imi Lichtenfeld to assume the permanent role of Krav Maga Chief instructor. It’s known that he was unruly youth before that picked my Immi and adopted as his student and groomed into his Krav Maga Role in the IDF! He became a spectacular Krav Maga Genius!

"Eli continued to develop Krav Maga within the I.D.F. until his retirement in 1987."
"In 1987 Eli Avikzar retired from the Krav Maga Association and in 1989 founded K.A.M.I. - Israeli Krav Magen Association, with “Imi's” blessing."
https://kami.org.il/language/en/founder-of-k-a-m-i/

ELI AVIKZAR
Eli Avikzar immigrated to Israel from Morocco in 1963 as a boy with nothing in his pocket, except a rich background of street fights from his hometown, Casablanca. He was forced to fight local gangs who were harassing him for being Jewish in a hostile Arabic environment. Eli began training with “Imi” Lichtenfeld (Sde-Or), the founder of Krav Maga (Contact Fight) in November 1964 at his institute in Netanya, and became his principal student. In those days there were no training outfits or grades for Krav Maga, so they trained in army uniforms. In 1965 “Imi” added Judo training, as part of the Krav Maga training and distinguished teachers like Gadi Schornic and Amos Grinshpen became Eli's Judo instructors.

Eli trained twice a week, and after receiving his Orange belt in Judo and with “Imi's” consent, went to train in Tel-Aviv, where he continued practicing Judo and added Karate and Jujitsu to his training schedule. Eli would then return regularly to “Imi's” training classes and together they improved and developed counter exercises to Judo, Karate and Jujitsu.
“Imi” stuck to the motto that every person, with or without coordination, strong or weak, can perform Krav Maga exercises, by utilizing one’s own maximum force.
Until 1968 there were no grades in Krav Maga and trainee's grades were determined largely by their knowledge in Judo.

In 1968 Eli Avikzar began learning Aikido under the guidance of an Englishman named Mike and within a year became his training partner. Mike was astounded by Eli's rapid progress and offered him to go abroad for his Black belt trainings in Aikido. Following mike's recommendation, Eli left for France in 1971, passed the test and received a brown belt in Aikido. Prior to his journey, Eli received his Black Belt in Judo, in addition to the first Black Belt ever given in Krav Maga, which he received from “Imi” on the 1.5.1971. Upon his return, Eli started working as an instructor alongside “Imi” in both Netanya and Tel-Aviv training centers. In addition, they trained special army and volunteer units. In 1977 Eli went to Germany and after passing the test, received a Black Belt level in Aikido from the European Federation.

In 1974 “Imi” retired and handed Eli his Krav Maga Training Center in Netanya. In 1976 Eli joined the permanent force, as Head of the Krav Maga section. The role of Krav Maga in the army advanced greatly after his appointment. More courses were given and every P.E. instructor was obliged to learn Krav Maga and teach it. The improvement of Krav Maga in the I.D.F. was a result of the development of methods and exercises in civil life, and it became accepted and more professional, proving its efficiency in fighting units. Eli continued to develop Krav Maga within the I.D.F. until his retirement in 1987. Up to this date, Eli had trained 80,000 male soldiers and 12,000 female soldiers.
In 1978 the Krav Maga Association was established. As an active member of the Judo Association, Eli Avikzar helped to establish the professional and Rank committees in the Krav Maga Association.
In 1979 Eli appointed his first two black belts to trainees:
* Avi Avisidon
* Eyal Yanilov

A List of Eli's students is at the bottom of this page showing the Level of Black Belts awarded by him.
In 1981 Eli travelled to the U.S.A. along with “Imi” and some of his trainees for a 45-day performance tour, as part of a fund raising trip. In 1983, following that visit, the first American group arrived in Israel for a 3 week Krav Maga instructors course. In 1984 the Krav Maga Association awarded a Black belt to two American trainees, Allen Feldman and Darrin Levine. In 1985 Eli went to the U.S.A. as a representative of the Krav Maga Association, to lecture to the Department of Police, and in 1987 he returned again to the U.S.A. to give his first course to the Los-Angeles Police Department.
The many improvements Eli added to Krav Maga transformed it into a new method that was parallel to Krav Maga.

The name K.A.M.I. (Israeli Defense Battle) is attached to Eli's ideology since the method is divided into two parts: Self Defense and hand to hand combat (KAMI does not participate in any competitions). A combat fight develops if a self defense exercise does not totally neutralize the attacker. From this theory comes the name Israeli Krav Magen which means Israeli Defense Battle.

K.A.M.I. adjusts itself to the altering state of the street and to the immediate, modern, contemporary dangers. K.A.M.I. renews and improves ads and revises exercises to find solutions to a changing environment. In practice, the exercise is short and efficient and all is permitted to save lives. "Minimum Movement against Maximum Movement becomes Minimum Defense against Maximum Offense"
In 1987 Eli Avikzar retired from the Krav Maga Association and in 1989 founded K.A.M.I. - Israeli Krav Magen Association, with “Imi's” blessing.

Today, the K.A.M.I. method has over 40 branches across the country. It is recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education as the recommended method for schools, it is authorized by the Academic College at Wingate, "Na'amat" (women's organization), and P.E. teachers and it is used by various security forces and is well known throughout the world.

In 1996 Eli was granted a Dan 8 grade, including a Founder Diploma, which was the first to be issued by “Imi”, and in 1999 was granted Dan 10 grade by all the esteemed and professional members in K.A.M.I., including senior pupils and P.E. Institutes in Israel.

In 1999 Eli was given worldwide recognition and the Dan 10 belt from martial arts heads from Israel and abroad, Israeli sports institutes and his senior students.
In 2004 Eli Avikzar passed away leaving his dream "Every boy and girl should know to defend themselves."

In 1971 Eli Avikzar received his first Black Belt in Krav Maga. Immi was wearing a black belt when he started to wear Gi teaching Krav Maga long before.
To be one of Imi Lichtenfeld Original Black Belts, you had to train in Civilian Krav Maga for at least 4 years!

The same applies for being one of Eli Avikzar’s Black Belts with the exception that being and IDF Krav Maga Instructor after one month intensive course in the IDF qualify you to take the test for a Blue Belt in Krav Maga, and then you have to wait a year to get tested for a Brown Belt and another year to get tested for a black belt. For a 2nd Dan and above are based on services to the association, roles, and experience and advanced training seminars and getting a Sports Coach Diploma from Wingate Institute for Physical Education specializing in Krav Maga where the Krav Maga training are the sole responsibility of the civilian association and the certification is based on letter of recommendation from the respective sports association and the theory of sports and related academic subjects teaching and testing are done by Wingate institute, and accredited Phys Ed College.

In 1974 Immi retired from teaching even Civilians Krav Maga! As the head of the first Civilian Krav Maga Association he signed diplomas for Krav Maga as the Head of the Krav Maga Association, while a hands on Instructor was required to fulfill the role of actual training and drilling students. For high ranking Dans there had to be some sort of training done by another instructor before Imi would award a black belt, or a merit of time and magnitude of teaching.

There were about 3 American Students that took the fast track of intensive 3 week training in Israel. However, they were taught hands on by a student of Eli Avikzar that never taught intensively in the IDF. Eli Avikzar was appointed the first head of Rank Committee in the Krav Maga Association and he opposed the bypassing of the Association Rules that were done by Imi on occasion to intensively promote Civilian Krav Maga around the world as a sport stripped of the lethal elements of Hand to Hand Combat.

So figure if anyone is claiming to be an IDF Krav Maga Instructor after January 27, 1983 whatever he learned was watered down through a civilian association Instructor that never taught an IDF Course or on porpoise diluted the training system to adapt to civilian demands and hazards of competition! Anyone that claims to be an IDF Krav Maga Chief Instructor before 1983 has to be Sheike Barak, Eli Avikzar and Boaz Aviram. There were other Krav Maga Instructors that taken the IDF Intensive Krav Maga Course, which very few became instructors in their units but never had the opportunity to teach the whole curriculum as usually their role was a combined combat fit(Physical Fitness) and Krav Maga…

Almost all prominent civilian Martial Arts Instructors of the era took a short intensive training in the IDF but not the whole curriculum but their years of civilian Martial Arts intensive weekly dabbling gave them such a bad attitude and bad efficiency habits that it was realized that they are sort of bad “Chips” to be used to teach Krav Maga when needed in experiments the IDF had done. There were several Krav Maga Civilian Instructors that Eli Avikzar used, scheduling them to teach in their reserve duty but only as assistants in teaching Women Soldiers Short Courses or Various short courses for recruits but never special units, or the Whole Krav Maga Instructor Course.

So to teach Krav Maga in the IDF from 1976 until 1983 in the Fighting Fit /Combat Fit Academy you had to take the IDF Intensive Krav Maga Course, or be a Chief Instructor in the IDF Combat Fit Academy. You could also be a Fighting Fit Instructor/Physical Fitness course to teach limited Krav Maga techniques. You could also be a black belt from Eli Avikzar’s Civilian School but only assisting him teach scheduled units of low level Krav Maga and never the Complete Instructor Course. You would have to be at the age of above 18 in these years with minimum 4 year Civilian Krav Maga training under Eli Avikzar or at least 19 after the IDF Basic training if you joined the IDF at age 18 and then take the intensive IDF Krav Maga Course. For all those that claim teaching Krav Maga in their Special units whether Border Patrol which is not a special unit, and all the other special units who did not take the IDF Krav Maga Instructor Course, they never taught Krav Maga, but did a leisure time Martial Arts Activity in their unit.

So check the date of birth of your instructor claiming lineage and take it from there…Prior to 1948 Immi Lichtenfeld was teaching limited Hand to Hand Combat in the Israeli Underground groups. In 1948 he was elected as the IDF chief instructor of Physical Fitness and Krav Maga. At some point Sheike Barak was Base Commander of the Fighting Fit Academy and also taught Krav Maga, and later moved to teach Krav Maga in the Israeli Police.

Imi Lichtenfeld was hesitant of teaching the Intensive Lethal Krav Maga to Civilians at all times. He always valued the highest instructors as those that were in the Circle of IDF Krav Maga Instructors...This is why he chose Eli Avikzar to be the head of Rank Committee in the Civilian Krav Maga Association. When Eli Avikzar decided to leave the Association that Imi Lichtenfeld founded, Imi started giving higher ranks to other starving students that took efforts in manipulating his conscience based on their school sizes and career advancements. Some ranking were fraudulently manipulated before his death, and some were fraudulently self awarded after his death. The same phenomena might have occurred in other civilian Associations.

In the 1980 IDF Krav Maga Curriculum development was at its peak. 1983 the Original IDF Krav Maga was lost! Diluted training methods were introduced by Imi Lichtenfeld Civilian instructors…

Boaz Aviram was teaching the intensive IDF Curriculum in Civilian Life and had published two books and complete training videos to preserve the Israel Defense Forces Krav Maga Curriculum at the peak of the development of the training system before it was diluted in its origin – the IDF!

Students who were awarded Krav Maga Black Belts by Eli Avikzar's List:

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; What does a 21 Hour Core Curriculum mean? It means 215 techniques and 15 Training drills, including a demonstration of Pressure points and discussion about the human reaction time and situational awareness in depts. It does not include warm up time for the training itself.

Sufficient warmup time is determined on how this 21 hour core curriculum is broken into segments of training time. For each daily session you would need a warm up session. For lesson evaluation, you would need to rehearse the curriculum of the 21 hour.

Rehearsing is always not a bad idea. However keep in mind that the 21 hour core curriculum is the minimum time required and maximum time allotted to rehearse 215 techniques and 15 training drills which are in essence a prioritized approach of all techniques and tactics of Universal Martial Arts knowledge accumulated since dawn of history and distilled to exclude techniques and tactics that were devised by imagination against non resisting or non challenging opponents.

The overall Objective of the Curriculum is to secure appropriate hand to hand combat training to the average individual in training groups of up to 20 people empirically tested to hold quality control good standards. Of course the common denominator of military newly recruits is basic fitness and health and age requirements but not any kind of superior athleticism.

Objectives of Comprehensive Warm Up for daily physical Hand to Hand Combat Training session: The basic military warm up spinal stretches of stretching the hips from side to side, reaching one toes from a standing position while keeping the knees locked and pivoting the torso from side to side in neutral stance and circling the shoulders are required to prepare the spine for various motions preventing dislocation and related injuries. Attention should be paid to warming up the knees as well which can be achieved in varieties of drills. Boxer’s neck rolls are good as well. Extracted Yoga stretches for the legs and spine for kicking and basic pushups and squats are good for prevention of impact injury to the shoulders and legs when punching and kicking.

Objectives of Impact Training: At the end of the Training Chapter students will acquire comprehensive skills of efficient reach and impact delivery to opponents’ pressure points and how to prevent and foil opponents’ attempts from using impact on their bodies.

Objectives of Push and Pull Training: At the end of the Grappling Chapter of Krav Maga, students will gain awareness and know how skills of any possible human attempt to throw, lift, choke , tear, break, restrict motion in any possible scenario of using the human body’s dynamic or static weight to inflict stress, damage and death on opponents and how to foil these attempts.

Objectives of Krav Maga Weapons Training: At the end of the Weapon Chapter, students will gain awareness of the limited time of defending against weapons in each attempt to reach the human pressure points from each angle, and how to use it in combating opponents using an edged, blunt weapon, or a firearm threat using the most efficient selected Krav Maga techniques.

Objectives of Sparring: During the Sparring Drills students will learn to apply techniques intuitively and adapt to any possible scenarios to control opponents through their pressure points while foiling the opponents’ attempts of doing so.

Impact sparring drills: Impact sparring drills attacks by kicks punches, and blocks are drilled with combination or follow up combinations of attacks and counter attacks to hone intuitive execution. In addition, students get to sense the physical stress in a short confrontation of 3 minutes. Each engagement in and out of the hot zone is considered a separate encounter in Krav Maga. Instructors and Students need to realize that. So in a way from a drilling point of view you are dealing with multiple opponents as well. During several sparring bouts students should attempt to rehearse the whole impact curriculum to hone their skills. In sparring, your preference is preemptive attack. However, one of the opponents will naturally start moving faster, and the other is left with no time to plan an attack, but rather to react with block and counter attack. Students should be put in positions to try both scenarios to gain sufficient drilling.

Knife Sparring drills are designed to apply techniques intuitively to the appropriate attack and gain confidence in ability to control opponents armed with a knife using bare hands or a knife.

Stick Sparring drills are designed do gain intuitive application of the techniques learned using sticks or bare hands against opponents armed with a stick.

Grappling Sparring drills: While learning to inflict severe damage to soft pressure points such as throat eyes and groin, and joints and cervical spine, the grappling sparring is done to lean the navigational parts of reaching these pressure points, however only marking and using the soft pressure points with light application of pain to avoid injury.

Therefore a games of push and pull are chosen where opponent attempt to harmlessly grab one another and attempt by the use of push and pull force on their bodies or limbs to bring their opponents to the edge of a specified border in the training room. During this exercise, student learn to switch directions and positions from standing to crawling to rolling and preemptive break falling while keeping focused mentally and looking for and occasionally manipulating opponents soft pressure points. Opponent should attempt to drill several Judo Aiki-Jujitsu control techniques and leverages, and escape and counter attack to soft pressure points respectively.

Objectives of Lesson Evaluations: When evaluating student’s teaching skills of Krav Maga, you evaluate several components. Impressive presentation of the subject...Linking of the subject to the whole system…Effective Drilling of the learned techniques…Final evaluation whether the objective of the lesson were met. This might sound a bit redundant, but the purpose of it is to ensure quality control.

When evaluating a lesson, you need to see a lesson plan whether mental or in writing. You need to see a systematic intensive learning set. You need to pay attention to every detail the student instructor trainee is doing starting with proper setting for execution of the techniques to be learned, the explanation of how they relate to the whole system, the presentation of these techniques, the execution steps in fast and slow motion, the safety in training procedures including warnings and instructions to students to avoid injuries and use of training space to avoid accidental injury to neighboring students.

Psychological Objectives of Training Regarding Confidence in skills, handling fear, and other:

There are varieties of students and each has a unique and different level of perception throughout the training Course based on past interaction and experience. Some are eager to absorb and some are fighting and struggling to learn anything new. It’s possible that after completion of the intensive course, some will be fascinated of their achievement and the system’s capabilities. Some will be happy of their new skills and knowledge, and few will rather stick to their old habits and resent new knowledge. However overall through the sparring drills, it will be clear that old bad habits were hard to get rid of, and fresh and open minds will not have this problem of getting rid of old habits. Some students will witness a release of anger of past abuse or fears from intimidation as well.

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

There is enough media out there that give most people good idea. Element of surprise, vital points bare hands or weapons and there you go. But the idea is to train an average person not to get killed while someone is trying to kill him. Anything can help like fitness strength wisdom decision making and surprise. But if you take all the elements and break them down and compare the human body to a fortress and devise a training plan to break the fortress in full day light while he can try to stop you, then you have a good training system.

The key is efficiency at its maximum and sometimes disguise of intentions until the opponent is trapped. Under the above statement that there are no fights because the system is trained to kill, it’s just a general philosophy without truly examining the training system. Kung Fu training develops strength, and fast movement and striking and kicking.

However, like many other training systems it concentrates more on athletics and agreed upon training methods, that over centuries the doctrine neglects to concentrate on the essence of realistic survival.

Instead of training hours and years in techniques of striking kicking, and athletics, some more thought is needed to the efficiency of the techniques and the tactics in terms of universally addressing attacker’s prioritized reach of opponents’ pressure points and controlling them through them.

The human body is a universal starting point and no matter how you develop it to maximize its potential, if you take two people that had similar physique and tactics and train one of them in more efficient techniques guess who has a greater chance to prevail. So if you take pistol shooting training for the analogy of a training method, the pistol and the bullets are the efficient speedy reach to pressure points. They are consistent in their killing force. What is left is to train the human body in efficient carrying of the weapon and operating it on time by surprise before the opponent is able to foil your plans.

And for any Hand to Hand Combat training systems, besides the training go gain ability to mobilize the weapons which are the hard bones of your body to a strategic reach to opponent's pressure points in the best way possible as if they will try a lesser approach you will have an advantage.

Fighting or sparring is basically drilling how to overcome a threat of either trying to kill someone and stay alive or prevent yourself from getting killed by surprise, and the way to do it is separate the elements and drill them separately in a way that when you need you can combine them together.

In most combat sports you have certain limitations of pressure points preference and range preference and if you don't drill all the ranges and reach methods, you don't have in your school a realistic worthy training partner so your system loses its effectiveness.

Think of drilling a complex bombardment of kicks punches grappling and knives and sticks and in the old days swords from any possible angle and a small error in your strategy or chain of reaction will end your life.

To make it a unique sport and ensure control and hardship training, and to mimic personal attributes and lack of them thereof various combat sports prefer certain ways of doing things i.e. pressure points allowed to reach, methods of reaching them as impact vs. push and pull, contact areas of striking, choking limbs with pressure points, and duration of the round.

If all these limitations are removed and you are resorting to the logical best way to reach and manipulate pressure points, given the natural laws of mathematics you get Krav Maga!

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-76458258555683952002023-01-19T17:33:00.011-08:002023-04-17T16:19:44.765-07:00H2H FOR SELF DEFENSE TEACHING AND CURRICULUM QUALIFICATIONS/ BOAZ AVIRAM

What I've noticed is that someone listing teaching various arts as self defense such as Judo Karate Jujitsu and Boxing. I am sure he is not going to have the time to teach the black belt curriculum in each style.

So you have two styles of punching one style of blocking and one style of punch evasion and two styles of grappling... But it all has to be modified, and in fact these systems had to be modified for the purpose of self defense, as they are some competitive sports and some not so competitive at the time.

I mean teaching something is better than nothing, and getting a glimpse of varieties of techniques and tactics could open up your horizons, but could also fill your horizon with clutter which will bury you in your attempt to dig something when needed....

So supposedly Krav Maga became the sorted Hand to Hand combat in the 1980's but later a lot of people claim to teach Krav Maga are basically repeating the above experience of someone getting a black belt in some sport and then another black belt in another sport and some extracurricular experience in another sport and picks several techniques to teach self defense and hand to hand combat based on his own preference.

I mean it’s like reinventing the wheel again...There has to be a good system presented for H2H with arguments why all the other techniques were not selected and whey the techniques selected were modified and I think until someone is not certain of the logic behind the curriculum, one should not learn it as if you attempt to deliver something in a split of a second of danger situation that cannot fit the time span you lost your chance...

Just an observation and a comment about such "self defense" H2H training delivered in civilian and military and law enforcement setting. A variety of elements can be found in these photos, like whether to use the left hand or right hand against the attacker's right hand according to the speed of reach in the race against the human reaction time. Your mind should reflect on the decision of whether to use the left or right hand against the attacker's right hand to avoid discovery of the defense by the attacker where the field of vision is greater as well.

The thing is when photos are sparse and you try to show things by few photos you tend to combine things... You often preclude various developing scenarios... In this "scenario" the attacker training partner stopped resisting so the defender went ahead to the next step of fluid possibilities...

If you watch the video below you will see the covering of all the options and why this method is preferable. You have your whole body weight on that arm and you are limiting the elbow movement of the attacker, and it would be hard for him to lift his hand when you have your whole body weight on it...If he tries to lift his arm he cannot. If he tries to move back to take you out of balance he cannot because you either side stepped forward keeping the weight on his arm or punched him in the face or both...It’s actually a strike forward motion...

I think the priority in decision is how much element of surprise time you have to divert the barrel away from your body and with which part of the boy you can reach to do it and to which direction... It’s a matter of splits of a second. Someone calculated exactly how many splits of a second, but the best thing for an instructor and students it to take a device such as a BB gun and in some cases Simunition gun and train the attacker role to be fast and attentive in his vision and reaction and they try out and see if it works.

I've tried them all that way, and realized that any gun point to the head where your arms are to the side of the body, you don’t have the time to lift them to divert the barrel all the way up. So you rather move your head away and then block the attacker's wrist from returning to point the weapon at you.

Second if someone it pointing a gun to your back from behind, you are not quick enough to move the barrel away with your arm because by doing so you have to move your body and the attacker can sense it. So you need to do a full turn with your torso facing him. You don't deflect with your arm because it offsets the centrifugal force of the turn.

You turn first and then catch the arm. To make the turn quick you imagine you are about to face your opponent by spinning both of your shoulders and let both of your feet being pulled off the ground. It’s not a simple turn. Somewhat like a boxing side step but if you need to teach it quickly I find that this is the way to explain it. When I say you don’t I don’t mean a specific person but rather the average person.

We used to deliberate all these same thoughts of which quadrant the barrel is pointed to until we tested it. When you make a movement with just your hand under the barrel it takes time to recognize it, when you move your whole body you can easily see it. So in that split second the milliseconds you have the time to deflect the barrel and then move on to control it and neutralize the attacker.

To make things clear you are not competing with the speed of the bullet, but the speed of the brain's hand eye coordination. Assuming your attacker has the same brain hand eye coordination speed as you do approximately, you need to start first without projection to beat it. Gigoro Kano the founder of sport of Judo was the first to use the Current Belt Ranking System. Belts are displaying the current rank, level and mastery of the curriculum of a system!
Generally, you go though some favorite, some OK and some shit colors until you get to a black belt which is a nice color! Then you become an artist and delve in combinations of red and white…

But Krav Maga became at his height in the 1980’s a short intensive comprehensive training system in the Israel Defense Forces. The 21 hour core curriculum of walking through soldiers in the step learning and drilling of about 200 techniques and about 15 training drills could have been done without pressure in five days allowing comfortable administrative time and other routine fitness and duties that the IDF commands. Drilling it few times if you are about to become an instructor for the purpose of lesson evaluation and extra time for those that a little less athletically inclined, or suffer from brain overwhelming from small details still did not hurt the military schedule!

So upon conversion of Israel Defense Force Krav Maga to a civilian Hobby, the in place belt marketing of lookalike martial arts came handy to the first two originators but not to the third! The original control method of the training was fairly complex comparing to the belt system but more manageable and prudent! You place a class of 20 soldiers in formation and as an instructor you move to few angles to supervise each of the soldiers being able to execute the training steps to your satisfaction. Drilling 10-20 times each step of a technique not only ensures you register each students progress by the minute to achieve the hourly lesson plan goals, but giving you time to correct each one that is needed before moving to the next training step.

At the end of the 21 hour 200 techniques and 15 drills, you ran through sparring drills with bare hands and weapons to enforce intuitive response to any possible future scenario in hand to hand combat! The training drills using the techniques are like comprehensive mathematical formulae! In sum 5 days training repeated 3 times facilitates a 3 week course with weekends off and plenty of other activities of fitness, administrative and guard duties for soldiers! For very few will have the privilege of becoming instructors in the academy teaching the course few times and if they are smart enough and properly supervised become expert in Krav Maga.

On the other continuum are the actual reviews of the average and above average belt system in a civilian gym. Students are expected to spend 3-5 years with bi weekly hourly lessons to get a black belt. Students and instructor struggle in each test to instruct and execute techniques in reasonable proficiency and speed through each belt and according to the curriculum which is diluted and lethal elements extracted. If you don’t teach and master pressure points and the exact way how to reach them drilling intuitive decision and execution, you are left with waiting to hear a name of a technique and hope your training partner will give you the expected method of attack…
You have about 100 hour top training in the original military course where the intensive technique learning and intensive comprehensive sparring drills are methodically executed and the supervision is critical to achieve the combat ready status!

In the civilian Belt environment, you have about 300- 500 hours of training in 3-5 years before you get a black belt. For every hour of training deduct half for regurgitating warm up and fitness. Another problem of inefficiency with this training method is that some students don’t show up to each class and new people constantly come during the year. Well it’s like a factory, and new students are assigned a mentor to go over some basic techniques and procedures. Not to worry if you can learn Krav Maga in 5 days, then you can bring someone to keep up with the training anytime during the year quickly! The only problem was that it was taught without the lethal elements.

For some reason Immi (Imrich Lichtenfeld) was very peculiar about teaching each strike and kick with its proper combat biomechanics to achieve maximum destructive force. Never same it in civilian Krav Maga schools. It was wage instruction of throwing punches and kicks with minimum emphasize points and minimum correction. After all you would have 5 years to rehearse and unfortunately gain bad habits that God will help you to extract out! Yes even in the IDF you would have occasional shit instructors that yelled commands like a drill sergeant and in the sparring drills tell you to either bleed each other or be careful not to scratch each other with disregards to the holiness of the relevant curriculum and objectives of the course.

So aside from very few people that mastered the Original Complete magic of Krav Maga you had a culture of various actor Guilds developing over few generations calling a fitness class combined with movie combat choreography Krav Maga!

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training
Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-16352847084336918922022-03-08T09:20:00.010-08:002023-04-17T16:18:11.637-07:00TECHNICAL BOOKS - NOT TRASH FICTION / BOAZ AVIRAM

I keep getting peer advice to simplify my books and publish self defense for women! I have two books! The first is “Krav Maga – Use Your Body as a Weapon”. The book is about 320 pages with over 1,000 film strip photos and 200 pages of pure text. The second is “The Krav Maga Expert!” This book is about 530 pages of pure text. The first book presents the 21 hour core curriculum of the Israel Defense Forces Krav Maga Training System!

There are tons of details in the 200 techniques and 15 training drills done over 21 hours. The book programs your mind and the training method will program your body to avoid wasting the last split seconds of your life how to focus on your unseen options and avoid errors falling into a trap. The second book is for those that want to become experts, or those that have difficulties fighting what they learn. It is intended to brain wash you for the same purpose presenting many analytical scenarios leading to the same conclusions!

Since Krav Maga is designed to comprehensively train humans how to maximize and prioritize their last split seconds during a danger of getting killed in a hand to hand combat confrontation, naturally the easiest route and the best method of maximizing forces of impact and push and pull are taught only. So there is simply no better way a woman or a physically weaker person can use!

So when you tell me why not write self defense for women or simplified book it’s like trying to figure out how to satisfy an evil queen but has nothing to do with the best way to deliver the training to any human man woman or someone that thinks he is the opposite gender! Pure Krav Maga is the most simplified way to train how to defend yourself in any hand to hand combat scenario which can arise during self defense situation. However as simplified as it is, it’s not as simple as taking pills to a disease but more equivalent to surgical training than lifetime maintenance pill!

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-83106972249548073282022-03-08T09:13:00.003-08:002023-04-17T16:16:38.336-07:00RESPECT TO MILITARY HAND TO HAND COMBAT INSTRUCTORS / BOAZ AVIRAM

Respect to all these hand to hand combat instructors that were put in a military role of conditioning soldiers to combat. Competent or not they were put in a role, job, selected or fell into it.

Many were serious with inclination to either preserve the traditional dojo or fighting sport branch or branches of which they came from, and some were even courageous to realize and seek and develop modified training methods.

Most folk would never know what really happened, but through reading news and books will try to get a glimpse of history. No one while in a military capacity will be allowed to publish a training program to civilians! Perhaps retiring high ranking officers would be given a chance to make money of a book and obviously if crucial they will have to pass or be overlooked with censorship. This is the politics of such organizations.

Even in military organizations such a complex and unique area of hand to hand combat if valuable, experts are not going to let some charitable government official drain their brains and let the rest of the world use it without reaping the benefits or saving it for later. I was lucky to be there at the right time when the universal principles and training methods of hand to hand combat were developed and methodically and intensively taught! I did it.

I’ve made available to anyone that wants to read and watch videos of how exactly it’s done. I’ve realized most people don’t realize how much they need it or how much they might need it or how much it’s crucial that if they would need it and when they would need it has to follow the exact recipe suitable for hand to hand combat and not just something that look alike delivered by a rough man in a karate suit or yoga pants says.

So respect to the pioneers, the sensationalist figures that helped change military histories, save human lives, contribute to successful operation determined the loss or retention of a country etc. The difference I’ve made was to reach the top of the ladder on both the most realistic H2H combat training system and Documentation and combine them. On top of it, I’ve designed a long reading book to flood one’s brain in one direction blocking all the other to lead them to the most crucial conclusion and savor them for future use and even apply them to other areas of interests. They will learn about Immi’s history and the following two people that replaced his role in the Israel Defense Forces Fighting Fitness Academy Krav Maga Department, Eli Avikzar, and Boaz Aviram. They will understand that civilian commercialized training facilities using this name are not necessarily the training System called Krav Maga. They will familiarize themselves with the objective or controlling an opponent and prevention of control through the use of Pressure Points under the constraint of the Human Reaction Time!

PURE KRAV MAGA PRESSURE POINTS LESSON OBJECTIVES:
In 45 minute session, students will familiarize themselves with the location and methods of reach of the human pressure points used in Krav Maga to control an opponent in the various ranges and angle for the purpose of awareness of possible harm and awareness how to inflict harm and control first depending on availability of fast reach, distance and angle. They will learn the effect of such pressure points manipulation as well on the human body limitations to counter attack.

PURE KRAV MAGA STRAIGHT PUNCHES LESSON OBJECTIVES:
In one session of 45 minutes the student will learn how to execute straight punches to reach the opponent’s chin with his fist and pass it 4 inches to cause concussion. He will learn the correct sequence of body limbs motion to maximize speed and weight shift during impact. He will learn to draw his punches without projection. He will learn to lunge into the hotzone and execution these straight punches in lunging range after learning to execute them from the spot. He will learn to use the cross punch (follow up punch to the jab which is he closer hand)and continue to alternate punches with few drills that will make him comfortable in reaching his opponent’s chin to control him with concussion or severe distraction leading to a follow up control.

THE REST OF THE 21 HOUR CORE CURRICULUM:
The 21 hour core curriculum of Pure Krav Maga is a program of designed intensive training measuring the 21 hour time it takes to walkthrough and drill students intensively in the system of hand to hand combat training Pure Krav Maga. You need to warm up in addition to that and spend more time to hammer everything by rehearsing components from the 21 hour core curriculum that below average students did not master.

As you can see the first three lessons deal with demonstrating the principles of hand to hand combat components, which are awareness reacting time, impact and leverage on the human pressure points and methods of reaching them stealthily. The rest of the lessons deal with familiarization and drilling to proficiency with the rest of the components of Impact and leverage and use of blunt and sharp weapons including firearm threats, learning the techniques of reaching restraining and blocks and escapes and drilling continuous passage from the ranges of combat randomly and programmed with various sparring drills to perfect the intuitive reaction to end a fight in few splits of a second.

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training
Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-63437258526321447312021-05-06T09:26:00.006-07:002023-04-17T16:08:49.584-07:00IF ITS NOT THE ORIGINAL TRAINING SYSTEM - ITS NOT KRAV MAGA / BOAZ AVIRAM

Krav Maga is

the 1980’s in the IDF Fighting Fitness Academy this training system was

process with hope to deliver the ability to deliver the complete system to
others.

From a young

systems by Eli Avikzar successor in the IDF Boaz Aviram.

That

Further broken down and put together it turns out that moving the arms alone in unidirectional motions from the position they were placed prior to the recognition of need of immediate action minimizes waste of precious time and maximizes economy of motion. Therefore it promotes maximum speed of reach and prevention of reach.

The whole theory of Martial Arts proper stance lies in comfort of ability to timely attack and block. However in Pure Krav Maga instead the essence of outlet stances is to demonstrate the relativity of reach from each possible relative position allowing natural selection when combat scenarios arise.

So when kicking in the kicking range is the most efficient tool to reach the human pressure points, all the other limbs aside the kicking foot help to prep and support that most efficient method of kicking. However, the head and shoulders must start first prompting gravity to pull the body forward followed with the arms for balance and hips twist to align the landing of the base foot’s heel on the same line of the kicking leg’s heel. That would ensure that all the body weight would be propelled in the same direction causing maximum momentum development.

Then in the Punching range, all the other limbs help support the punch. However, with straight punching, the body lunges first, then the arms must start first in reach motion and the rest of the body naturally follows in shifting all the weight by gravity into the impact. With circular punching like hook, uppercuts and knife hand strikes, which are secondary strikes after distraction caused with the primary strikes, prepositioning of the arms are required to maximize the closer range impact.

When blocking either kicks or punches, the arms must start first and the body will follow in natural motion. Escpecially in efficient knife poking scenarios, its imperative that only the arms start to move with blocking as any foot motion would slow down the block and let the tip of the blade poke your body.

Then prioritizing Impact over pure leverage pressure point manipulation when possible would determine which one of the opponents is using the fastest finishing method without giving the other the option to exit, recuperate and counter with greater deadly approach!

While evident in combat sports, great athletes use these winning strategies, some consistently and some not, their track records of victories and losses would follow accordingly. They can afford trying as there are rules and referees… However, for the one that seeks self defense and hand to hand combat under survival rules, the only way to learn from mistakes safely is in programmed training, as the lethal elements of combat are webbed all along the training and full use would cause irreversible damage.

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-61064449295383700172021-03-28T13:58:00.011-07:002021-06-14T18:38:24.526-07:00NON RESISTING OPPONENT CLICHE / BOAZ AVIRAM

Lots of techniques were “developed” against “non resisting opponents”! But this is just a broad description of not the best opponents! What is then a best resisting opponent? Well it’s someone that exhausted all the options available under the constraint of the human reaction time when it comes to Pure Krav Maga. What are all available options then? Well each attack should be realistic attempt to reach an opponent or training partner’s pressure points and demonstrate ability to control them sufficiently to the point the attacker cannot reverse fortunes.

Some techniques are straight forward like Defense and counter attack. Or attack and follow up attacks. But overall the human reaction is the element that limits the number of attacks that can hit the target and gain initial control allowing for further attacks if needed. When weapons are involved they provide extensions to reach the pressure points and therefore a longer travel to reach the attacker while counter attacking is required. Therefore the counter attack is not exactly simultaneous and the angles of control and approach should be thoughtful!

Finally, it is the range of motion possible of the body arms legs and head and ability to generate sufficient force with its motion quickly enough with the initial and follow up attacks. So when you have a defensive technique against an attack you must consider the reaction time and range of motion when you are moving for your counter attack limiting any possibility for another reversal of fortunes.
YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental TrainingBoaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-66539678958727714302021-01-24T13:40:00.007-08:002021-01-25T12:29:11.754-08:00KRAV MAGA PISTOL THREAT DEFENSES / BOAZ AVIRAM

The original Israel Defense Forces Krav Maga was teaching
only 3 techniques of pistol defense. Front center body from a distance front
when barrel is pressed to the body, and from the rear center body. It later
added from side center body. Later, other instructors added varieties of
heights and angles and tried to use the same original techniques or other
techniques! To succeed against a realistic scenario you needed to train with realistic intent and training device to mimic the ultimate capabilities possible! Only techniques that constantly work against the limits of challenging training partners are worthy of having in a curriculum of hand to hand combat!

The crucial success of any Krav Maga techniques was
dependent of the human reaction time – the time it takes the brain to deliver
the command to the trigger finger through the cervical spine and arm nerves
from the inception of the decision to shoot. Such decision in a pistol threat
scenario would be triggered by fear for fight to control the weapon!

The old revolvers and even semi auto pistols shooting
techniques for combat trained individuals could be aiming from a distance
holding the pistol with a straight arm while shoulders aligned at eye level or
shooting from the hip as you draw! Of course other angles of shooting from a
close distance could be aimed to the body or head from various angles. Center
body or heart or head to kill and limbs to injure!

The idea in military combat is to shoot first immediately
when you see your opponent! If he pops out from a cover by surprise, then you
try to shoot first assuming both of you are trying to aim to the center and
then shoot! So the fact that he is moving as he pops out from coverage tells
you that he would need another split of a second to aim his pistol since the
arms motion is required to balance movement!

So now let’s think about the tactical point of view. You
don’t learn techniques and hope to get to the exact comfortable and feasible
position and scenario to execute them. You learn to minimize your risk and
prevent scenarios that make it feasible for you to get injured or die!

In modern tactical pistol shooting, you learn to chase your
target and use a power grip to combat your high pulse body movement and aim at
eye level to ensure you don’t hit the wrong man and you don’t waste time and
hit your target!

You also learn that in the range of less than 10 feet you
can hit the target with point shooting using just your hand and arm. The
increase of the distance above 10 feet necessitates aiming at eye level. Some
people with a lot of training can hit from the hip in greater distances.

So pointing a gun to a person execution style in close
distance is either a threatening statement, or a comfortable method of killing
a stationary target – one that is unlikely to resist!

You must always use your judgment when it comes to reality,
but the idea is not to waste time when a threat exists and move to neutralize
it preemptively when first encountered! So forget about Hollywood drama and the
stupid mentality of exaggerated consequences of the use of lethal force! You
are about to get killed – not your opponent! As you see him approaching you
when you can reach the barrel you need to start moving and never stop and fake
a clown begging for its life!

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

This is why most of the techniques selected for drilling in the grappling section are the ones that respond to this immediate threat.

As for the immediate hit counter attack such as a punch to the face, it is difficult to execute with enough force if he pulls you, because you need your arm to balance your movement. But if you can squeeze his throat or groin on the way and use a soft pressure point for pulling like tearing the neck cartilage or grabbing and squeezing his testicles en route, then it should be your top priority.

The only time you can kick or punch is when you see him coming. The moment he grabs your neck, he could break the cartilage and the moment he grabs your clothes it can unbalance you, and the moment he grabs your body he can throw you down or lift you first and then throw you down. If you feel him coming to grab your torso and push you, you might hit him in the temple while you fall making a fist with a protruded knuckle ... Rarely does someone grab your clothes and hesitate before he does anything right away!

Now, the reason we don't use any possible technique for static restraints is because if there was a push or pull motion with the initial grab and you’ve waited to see what kind of grab it is static or non-static, you have wasted precious time and lost the surprise element to the point in which you may not have enough time to gain the advantage in prevailing.

<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-76546402186523124442020-11-29T17:34:00.009-08:002021-01-26T13:56:02.934-08:00EXTRACTING THE CIRCUS OUT OF MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING / BOAZ AVIRAM

Immi Sde Or (Lichtenfeld) -Extensive training in Circus, Jujitsu, Boxing, Fairbairn Knife, Bayonet and Pistol Tactics, British Military Disciplines, and he extracted the Circus out of all realizing the essence of hand to hand combat lies in the split second engagement and must be universal. “I don’t want to fight said Immi – the moment you get rid of your opponent you do not need to fight!".

If someone comes to kill you, rise and kill him first – If you think someone has the intention or the action to come and kill you – kill him first! You don’t fight! You Kill! Extract the Circus Out! Killing should not be entertainment.

Many Martial Arts and Fighting Sports incorporate the entertainment factor. Hard training involves any possible performance to achieve the sports winning goals under its rules which also contribute to the need to excel. Being able to move your body fast over many planes and deliver impact and push and pull leverage navigating quickly around your training partner withstanding long endurance makes you feel good and relaxed and somewhat confident.

But it is the split second prior to entering the hotzone (the distance where whoever attempts to reach his opponent’s pressure points first with sufficient control power gets an advantage over the other) with the most prioritized approach out of many that determines victory! So the difference between Circus training and hand to hand combat training lies in the essence of self defense.

THE REAL FIGHT
Once the opponent enters the hotzone you reach foil his reach to your pressure point and control his pressure point whichever is feasible first. The hotzone is the breakeven distance where one can lunge and reach the other’s pressure points without the other having sufficient time to command his limbs to foil the attack! Therefore you must initiate your block and counter as the attacker crosses the hotzone or as you enter the hotzone!

THE CIRCUS
Attacking and blocking before or after the entry to the hotzone

THE MISPERCEPTION
When two opponents are paying attention to this principle and are adhering to it real things are happening. When they don’t – it becomes a Circus! People are reverting to enjoyment of the Circus without learning the boundaries of self defense!

THE TRAINING
Realistic: Maximizing the efficiency of attacks generating maximum force in minimum time for feasible reach! Maximizing the efficiency of blocks and escapes. Maximizing the Tactical Efficiency of realistic Probability. Adhering to the above principle.

Circus: Both opponents take turns in adhering to the above principles and not resulting in a mish mash demonstration of inefficient attempt to control pressure points, missed opportunities and faked survival. Training partners or sports match athletes are hurting and getting hurt endlessly from stupidity of not understanding the principle above until there is a sufficient control of the opponent through his pressure points! The fact of victory or loss in training or a sports match would have no effect in predicting the outcome of a well trained hand to hand combat opponent!

YouTube complete course on video
Training Manual
Complete Critical Mental Training

Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-59585323945355460962020-09-16T17:14:00.008-07:002021-03-23T06:45:33.186-07:00ACHIEVING AND MAINTAINING GOOD QUALITY CONTROL IN A HAND TO HAND COMBAT TRAINING SYSTEM / Boaz Aviram

Product quality decline in Hand to Hand Combat.

I chose to write on hand to hand combat because it is a training system designed to use for last resort self defense when there are no other options whether to the military, police or civilians.

With modern library systems whether tangible or virtual one can search tons of information and use his or her logic to figure things out for his or her best interests.

It seems that historically there was rise and fall of empires, militaries, martial arts popularities, and combat sports and their champions. Aside for disintegration of large organizations and individuals, due to age, war, and economic hardship, there were few combat sports schools that had or have the reputation of training long lasting champions.

Yet many of these sports only in best case scenario maximize the physical potential of hand to hand combat. The limiting nature of combat sports and individual specialty naturally preclude each one from being suitable for hand to hand combat.

When they tried to combine mixed martial arts and make it a sport, instead of prioritizing reaching controlling pressure points through the ranges, they just adopted the separate relatively safe sports individually, and without a plan tried to put them together. That gave endless possibilities which most of them are the lesser of the best choice of action.

So in reality you have a lot of great combat sports trainers that went through the orthodox and apprenticeship of individual combat sports, and you also have tons of personal trainers that incorporate some look alike combat sports that they did not study enough into their fitness or pseudo self defense program. There is also vast literature and training videos of all of the above out there.

One of the major marketing tools of getting students is the curriculum vitae of the school instructor. Another marketing tool is just the school name associated with impressive related name. Then there is the convenient location, pay, and cleanliness of the training place.

So you have someone that won sports martial arts competitions consistently, or went through the 5-10 year belt system or similar rank recognition thinking or trying to make you think that he can teach you hand to hand combat in either a short period of time or through a life time membership.

Out of the schools that he has attended, there were not many champions but him and perhaps few others. So while no two individuals are alike yet you should still ask yourself how the training system is geared to bring everyone in the classroom to competent self defense capabilities, when everything that the champion learned was from an instructor that had other students that never even came close to becoming a champion.

Well while any physical training is healthier than sedentary life, and fighting sports are very demanding training with a lot of fitness involved, not every student is capable of putting in the training time to be the best. Whatsoever, when fitness and sports injuries prevention is the utmost concern of sports, training is geared for the long run.

So the training systems are out there, and there are many variations of them. Great instructors are out there with variations as well. But while only few schools generated specific field champion, many schools generated MMA champions. Why is that?

Keep in mind that all the orthodox training methods involve military style keep your mouth shut and train fitness for the most part. In addition, you would have someone give you an explanation or two. To really prepare someone for competitions they need to be at a level where they individually spar with a training partners combining many of their simplified sparring drills together.

The more they understand the individual components of controlling the human body of their opponents or training partners first through impact or push and pull leverage, the more they can mimic a good challenging match and how to win it. But the main reason is that in MMA you have more opportunities to use your expertise in more ranges.

One of the problems in MMA is that their intsructors learn techniques and drills with less understanding how they correlate and applied properlly. And with combining separate sports, its almost combining different sized of leggo game without fluid flow in the chain of defense, and without prioritizing when is the best timing to change from one sport to another. Not having the exact knowledge amounts ot bad timing and more change to lose a fight.

However, it is clear that if you are going to compete in MMA, and your background is one combat sport or two, you will need to learn the basics of the others to the point that you will have a chance to get to your favorite range safely. On another note, you don’t have to worry about boxing and karate champions so much because they are so good in their field that they won’t waste their time in MMA. Yet to learn and train in these combat sports and combine them is not enough to train in hand to hand combat. There are many soft pressure points that can be easily hit, poked and ripped with devestating varieties of strikes which makes like easier with more lattitude of options in the ranges and angles of body positioning against an opponent. Then they need to be prioritized to the best choice and students need to learn how to apply the prioritization process getting familiar to a point of second nature with combat navigation in motion.

If you look at the history of martial arts tournaments, sometimes you see an upward trend and sometimes a downward trend. That means good training methods are lost. When it comes to upward movement and you think about improvement, it could probably be reinvention of the wheel type of "improvement". Not every trainer is looking around to ensure he is giving the best that is available to his students! Not every trainer is interested in doing so either...

But really with all these complexities, if you want to learn hand to hand combat, you need an easy to understand structure of the complexities. The more the training system is organized and documented properly through books and training videos, the more it is consistent and easy to test and master systematically.

Pure Krav Maga is the only training system that gives you transparency and approval to be the best hand to hand combat training system.

YouTube complete course on video

Training Manual

Complete Critical Mental Training

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">
Boaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-40787624940402743842020-08-31T22:19:00.007-07:002021-03-10T10:36:59.595-08:00THE KRAV MAGA EXPERT BOOK BRINGS YOUR MIND TO PEACE OUT OF STRUGGLE! / BOAZ AVIRAM

The Pure Krav Maga Videos help you visualize and mimic a classroom instruction and retake it as many times and you need.

The book Krav Maga - Use Your Body as a Weapon is a complete Technical Manual to the System.

However the book The Krav Maga Expert forces your brain to think and sort it through to the last detail and bring your mind to peace out of struggle! You are doing so by learning the map of the pressure points, the route to reach them and the routes the opponent can try to prevent you from doing so by evading with his body or blocking with his arms and legs. You also learn the optimized way to of moving and generating maximum speed and force with your motions to get optimal sufficient effects.

Once you learn the particles of the system, you combine them with navigation and combination drills to move along the chain of defense (far from reach to a closer reach)...

The critical advantage of being able to go over the twenty-one hour core curriculum is the memorization not only of the automatic motor skills of the techniques, but also how exactly to execute them in the training drills. If you do the particles wrong, the whole would be wrong and if you do the particles right and put them together wrong, the whole would be wrong too. There are endless sales of techniques, and fitness training drills that don't conform to the human efficiency and reaction time limits and thus ill designed training programs are vast.

I can suggest doing some viewing on your own and you can even find a training partner and train together, and perhaps some heavy duty reading as well. The realistic H2H possible part does not take more than a few splits seconds and therefore any mistake in what you are attempting to fit in that time frame can cost with life.

YouTube complete course on video

Training Manual

Complete Critical Mental TrainingBoaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-63339153775098386982020-07-22T14:43:00.029-07:002020-09-17T20:40:00.021-07:00EMBARK ON INTENSIVE HAND TO HAND COMBAT COURSE EVALUATION / Boaz Aviram
What do you expect as a student when you want to learn Self defense?

What do you expect as an Instructor when you want to teach self defense?

You better have a better plan than all the others or at least as good as the best plan out there to teach or to learn or both! Think what techniques you need, what tactics, how to learn and teach them intensively. Monitor your own learning by watching yourself executing the techniques and drills in sufficient speed. Test them against your training partners. But before you start you need to see what you are looking for in your training of self defense. Life if about survival first!

However Self Defense is confined to controlling opponents throughout their pressure points in your territory and not letting them control you! That way you stay safe and not get hurt or killed by surprise. You need to expect everything. How do you make it easier to expect everything is by categorizing similar expectations and learning enough points of reference so you can draw the whole picture and expand it into details or summarize it with outlines.

There are billions of students and instructors out there and many that were not satisfied on their first school feeling either it was a waste of time, or that they did not cover enough so they went to learn in few other schools several years each and they either got tired of searching for the truth or believed in a false reality that they would probably never learn in this lifetime.

Well Twenty-One Hour of Core Curriculum of the Original Israel Defense Forces Krav Maga should be your first stop! It’s the only systematic compressed training system tested by your own logic. Complex it is but you would find no other system after you spend about twenty-one hours reviewing all its complex and detailed aspects of learning in training in a live free YouTube Video Playlist.

Of course you can also try and train at the same time and kill two birds in one shot. But its best to first calm your mind’s fighting all the garbage that was previously put into it. The book Krav Maga – Use Your Body as a Weapon is a comprehensive supplementary reading detailing in writing and twelve-hundred photos how the two-hundred techniques and seventeen training drills – the only prioritized material you should ever be using for self defense and hand to hand combat should be done, why and why anything else should not.

You are invited to put the instructor's cap and do lesson evaluations, course evaluation, and student proficiency evaluation all through watching a complete Pure Krav Maga Course free on YouTube videos Playlist!

Depending on your logic, ambitions, and strive for perfection in self and students, or greed in teaching nothing and getting a lot of money and giving back nothing, your mind would lead you. But remember if your potential student was watching these videos he would have to tools to see through your crooked plans.

The book The Krav Maga Expert which is larger than any bible is basically telling you why you should not use anything else for self defense and doing so by presenting any possible argument used by fighting sports and martial arts instructors and turning them around for a reversal of fortunes!

Watch the Youtube topexpert10 Original IDF Krav Maga twenty- four session Playlist (Since Specific warmup is included in the Core Curriculum) if you really want to get your basics of survival in order!
YouTube complete course on video

Training Manual

Complete Critical Mental TrainingBoaz Aviramhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13138760188849157176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367420373167482668.post-2679325939755505342020-06-15T11:34:00.007-07:002020-09-16T23:42:18.153-07:00IDEAS OF TACKLING HYPOTHETICAL SITUATIONS vs. PURE KRAV MAGA TECHNIQUES / BOAZ AVIRAM

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">A good defensive counter technique is that that is successful in preventing an attempt from the opponent to reach your pressure points, and any follow up attempts. Naturally as the range closes in the chain of attack and defense, the move is from the kicking to punching and grappling range or vice versa from the grappling to the punching to the kicking range if the opponent retreats.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">
Using the knowledge of the limits of the human reaction time gives you a solid foundation to devise your training program that will only include the relevant techniques and drills extracting the irrelevant, so you do not end up not only wasting your valuable time, but also gaining bad habits in training and in the most valuable last few splits seconds of your life, that will determine, if you are leaving or coming back for more life! This is Pure Krav Maga!
YouTube complete course on video

Training Manual

Complete Critical Mental Training

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">A tactical move that was taught in Civilian Krav Maga to lean the torso back against the jab and the follow up cross and come back and hook the cross down. However, I've extracted this technique out because it did not make any tactical sense! As in Pure Krav Maga you do not simply bombard with punches without seeing where the target is at any split second! Since you are dealing with counter to counter of the best tactical approach, you do not need to deal with all sorts of possibilities.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">So if your opponent leaned back evading a jab or perhaps a drop punch which is harder to evade in that way because the attacker is hovering and adjusting the distance and can reach far, you never automatically deliver the cross without adjusting your aim to either side he might move his head. In this scenario if you saw him moving his head backwards, you can follow up with a side kick to the knee with your front foot and a back hand strike, or just wait for him to bring his head back to the front and let his hand hook the air, and only then come with your counter!

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">A final note on this one is that if you think why not keep this tactic to be used when someone does bombard you with punches think again that one of the main problem of martial arts is the magnitude of number of techniques which are duplications of specific techniques applied to non resisting opponent or non challenging opponent.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">So with that in mind Krav Maga was able to extract all the superficial gamut of techniques that were designed to less efficient and less prioritized tactically approach and be left with stuff that works all the times...
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">When any system or product is created there will be some errors and defects. The advantage of Krav Maga however, was to take into account all the errors that the other martial arts and fighting sports have done and fixing them. Still it is the distillation of the mind set and the terminology, objectives and training methods on all the aspects of the training method that needed to be clearly put out and documented in depth and in summary for the convenience of controlling the training process and the trust, but yet it needed to be tested with competent training partners trained to maximize the use of the human reaction time limits!
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;"><a href="http://www.lulu.com/shop/boaz-aviram/the-krav-maga-expert/paperback/product-24349475.html" style="font-family: times, "times new roman", serif; font-size: xx-large;">GET THE KRAV MAGA EXPERT BOOK<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: x-large;">!
